![]() They provide the cable to streamline their support. I still have working guitar leads that are over ten years old. ![]() Works perfectly, but I know how to treat cables. I've got about 50 hours on RS2014 so far. I had some sound issues in the first week but it's been way solid since then. I have zero problems with bugs, apart from having to turn the cable gain up. I really am surprised that such a buggy game got past QC at sony and MS. So really, I hope the devs step up the game and start bug-fixing or I am bailing out on the game as soon as there's a better alternative. The RealTone cable on the other hand seems to be of a shoddy build and costs more than equivalent stuff would. They can use whatever they like, but the DualShock ones tend to by of a good quality so a lot of people don't bother. No-one is required to buy PlayStation DualShock controllers for the ps3. The cable is proprietary hardware and no different than controllers. ![]() I hope they step up their game before someone makes a rip-off that's better. The game is buggy as fuck and still has a lot of poor design decisions(mirrored strings as default instead of tab? It's nearly like they're trying to make it hard for beginners so they never decide to try to learn from tabs.) That being said, it's a great idea with a mediocre implementation. I bought the game with the cable and all. Rocksmith Note Guide (aka what is this symbol?) See how you Rank Worldwide with Rocksmith Buddy! Rocksmith+ is a follow-up to the original Rocksmith franchise, with a major change to a subscription-based music education service. It dynamically adjusts the difficulty to your skill level, then slowly introduces more notes and phrases until you’re playing your favorite songs note-for-note. And hope that one day they can figure out how to implement those other interfaces.Rocksmith is a music video game series which aims to teach guitar by letting you plug in virtually any guitar or bass and becomes your personal guitar teacher as it monitors how you play. The fact that they have enabled Microphone mode is a good indicator that there is a team researching other connection possibilities.įor now, the best option is to use the supported cable. So if it was easy, I am sure they would do it. What we can be certain of is that they make way more money off of the DLC then they do off of the cable. If I was running the project, I would, but we don't know what issues are stopping them. They currently have a reletivly cheap cable that works really well on all supported devices.Īs far as any of us know, they may be looking into the possibility. And it is almost impossible for them to have every single existing and new and improved device.ĥ. Double the devices supported, double the amount of testing. Every device that is listed as supported would have to be tested in thier labs on new releases. Some that would add extra processing or latency because of the extra features.Ĥ. ![]() Not only having to support the software as it is, but adding in the variables of a ton of unknown interfaces. You can limit this by trying to work with only the top selling devices, but still the issue will be there.ģ. When you enable one device, then you have the headache of all of the people with similar devices wanting theirs to work. And when you consider the problems that Updates to those OS's have caused?Ģ. Granted, they may be able to open it up to only computers, but then trying to work with the drivers and sofware on both MAC and PC? A lot of complications between the two OS's and the driver/software differences on each OS. Any device they enable will have to be able to work on all platforms that they support. Well, I only have a few guesses on this based off my experiance in IT engineering and software development. Fair enough if they can't offer exact support for every usb guitar input device becuase they develope around the realtone but I think it sucks and should implement this, they implemented mikemode, does USB mike mode not work? It's like the COD franchise saying you need to buy this controller. Why will UBI not implement a patch themselfs? I have the real tone cable and find the Behringer functions exactly the same.
